ANNOUNCEMENT  5/12/2011:

After a six year hiatus, Ellis Cousins Newsletter

will return on October 2011.

To those of you who have stood by ECN through these past years - THANKS!
You guys have been great!

I am currently pulling together all my old information, setting up an office, checking on what's new in the genealogy world, and hiring an accountant to manage the paperwork end of things.

I do intend to honor old subscriptions that should have run into 2006 or later, plus a few from new members who had only recently subscribed when the newsletter folded.

If there is enough interest, I may change to a pdf version, but my hope is to continue the hard copy format. Haven't had a chance to check on how much printing and postage costs have increased in the past several years. It is not my intent to make a huge profit. I just want to make sure I can break even and never have to stop production again. Guess that means I'm older and wiser this go-round.

I plan to keep the format pretty consistent with what went before. I have a few ideas for new recurring articles, but don't worry ... just as before, I will provide a quality product.

And I'm so excited to catch up with all of you!

Ellis Cousins Newsletter is a 16 page newsletter filled with clues to help you find your Ellis ancestors.   Members are dedicated to sharing information and preserving family histories.  Feel free to send us copies of your old photographs, legal records, family Bible records, cemetery and church records or family lore to share with fellow researchers . . . and of course send us your queries!  New queries are posted with each issue and twice each year all queries are posted.   Each issue goes into libraries all over the country where they are made available to current and future family history researchers.  We publish four times each year, but in the event illness or other circumstances prevent us from producing four issues, the total page count on all issues for the year will not be less than 64 pages.  (16 pages x 4 issues = 64 pages)
